As we live out our vision of Building Homes of Faith, our desire is to Step Up everything we are doing at The Sanctuary. We believe that owning our own facility would allow us to expand our ministries both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.
Through ARISE, we are asking our church to Step Out in more ways than ever before, both in our community and around the world. We are seeking to leave safety for adventure, leave comfort for compassion and help others Build Homes of Faith.
ARISE is a Step Beyond our own abilities, our own resources and even our own comprehension. Together, we must fully rely on God and trust in Him to open doors and make things happen in a way that only He can so we are able to impact future generations for Christ.
We finished the fiscal year in September with approximately $250,000 in cash after completing the purchase of our new church home using the “contract for deed” arrangement with the building owner. This required us to make an initial down payment of 15 percent, or $300,000, during the closing in September 2012. Our building is broken …
